Australia's premier conference on regional issues, is about assisting regional, rural and remote Australia to source and identify the techniques, skills and issues they need to address to achieve successful economic growth and development.
The 19th Biennial Conference of the Australian Rangeland Society was held in Port Augusta, South Australia from 25 to 28 September 2017, and explored the theme of "transition to transformation".
Delegates engaged with the question of how to live sustainably in the rangelands - now and into the future, sharing their ideas and experience of the challenges and opportunities facing our rangeland environments, industries and communities during a time of significant change.
The Adelaide Crows spent two days in Port Augusta on February 27th and 28th for the Australia Post AFL Community Camp. The players conducted a training clinic for juniors in the region, where they had the opportunity to meet the team, learn basic AFL skills and collect autographs. Players also took part in a dinner in the Central Oval Function Room which raised funds for the local football clubs.
